Funeral services for Linda Daniel, 48, were at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church sanctuary with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor, officiating, assisted by Dr. Claude Lusk. Burial was in Plainview Memorial Park by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Daniel died Friday, March 21, 2008, in Lubbock. She was born April 28, 1959, in Plainview where she grew up and graduated from Plainview High School. She attended Wayland Baptist University. She married Robert Daniel on Feb. 11, 1977, in Plainview. Mrs. Daniel worked at First Baptist Church as a youth secretary and was currently working at Wayland Baptist University as the administrative assistant in the Office of Enrollment and Management. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Kayla Daniel and Amanda Daniel, both of Plainview; two sons, Christopher Daniel and Matthew Daniel, both of Plainview; her mother, Nadine Madera of Plainview; three sisters, Peggy Huckabee and husband John of Big Spring, Mary Kubacak of Lubbock and Sharon McMillon of Mansfield; five brothers, Billy McMillon and wife Helen of Bartlett, Tenn., Jimmy McMillon and wife Barbara of Houston, Don McMillon and wife Sue of Plainview, Ronnie McMillon and wife Bonnie of Amarillo and Curtis McMillon of Amarillo; her mother-in-law, Betty Ralls and her husband Harold of Plainview; her sister-in-law, Ruth Moon and husband Jim of Colorado; three brothers-in-law, John Daniel of Plainview, Walter Daniel and wife Lisa of Plainview and Joel Daniel of Lubbock; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends was Sunday at Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.
