Obituary

Funeral Mass for Juanita Daniel, 71, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla, pastor, officiating, assisted by Robert Cortez of Grace Beyond Walls in Lubbock. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mrs. Daniel died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, in Covenant Medical Center Lubbock. She was born Dec. 7, 1934, in Karnes City and married Jose Nieves Daniel Sr. on Sept. 4, 1956, in Morhead, Minn. He died March 21, 2001. She lived in Plainview for 24 years, moving from Lamesa. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include four sons, Jose N. Daniel, Arturo Daniel and Jose Daniel, all of Plainview, and Eddie Daniel of Lamesa; six daughters, Maria V. Sanchez and Gloria D. Rueda, both of Dallas, Maria N. Castillo and Rosalinda Castillo, both of Plainview; Lorie Gloria of Lubbock and Norma A. Nieto of Edmonson; three brothers, Isabel Sanchez of Colorado, Martin Sanchez of Florida and Jessie Sanchez of Chicago; three sisters, Sanjuana Ramos, Natalia Rodriquez and Elvira Vasquez, all of Wilson; 32 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
