Dalton, Allen Paine, Mrs. (Willie Dean Eldrod)

Funeral services for Willa Dean Dalton, 87, of Canyon, former Plainview resident, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dalton died at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, in BSA Hospice of Amarillo.

She was born June 8, 1915, in Valley Mills. She grew up in Central Texas and moved to Plainview in the early 1920s. She moved to Canyon in 1993.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and Beta Delphin Study Club.

On Dec. 14, 1935, she married Allen Paine Dalton in Plainview. He died July 6, 1997.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Dalton of Austin and Tommy Dalton of Petersburg; one sister, Doris Roak of Wildorado; and a granddaughter, Leigh Dalton of Garland.
