Funeral services for Julia "Judy" Crump, 82, of Hale Center will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in Hale Center with the Rev. Jimmy Cameron officiating. Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Crump died Friday, May 25, 2012. She was born Jan. 19, 1930, in Corpus Christi to James and Iona Martin Wallace. She married Silas Barton Crump on Oct. 4, 1950, in Lovington, N.M. He died in 1991. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Steve Rydner of Alton, Ill.; two sons and daughters-in-law, James "Buddy" and Elise Crump of Plainview and Charles Crump and LaVayne Gresham of Hale Center; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
