Crump, Aaron Benton, Mrs. (Doris Lavern Kimbell)

Graveside services for Doris Kimbell Crump, 80, of Amarillo, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Plainview Memorial Park with Gordon Cox, pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Canyon, officiating.

Burial arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors of Amarillo.

She was born March 8, 1922, in Quitaque, the daughter of Sterling and Leola Kimbell. On April 20, 1946, she married Aaron Benton Crump in Clovis, N.M. He died Dec. 16, 1976.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and The Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Debra Crump of Amarillo; and a granddaughter, Kari Crump of Amarillo.

Her parents, one sister and two brothers are deceased.

The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer?s Association of Texas Panhandle, 2200 W. Seventh Ave., Amarillo, TX 79106.
