Obituary

Funeral Mass for Harlan Crume, 61, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Alice Catholic Church with the Rev. Jim McCartney, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Rosary will be recited at 7 tonight at St. Alice Catholic Church. Mr. Crume died Friday, June 2, 2006, at his residence. He was was born Sept. 23, 1945, to Everett and Ruby Moyers Crume. He graduated from Lockney High School in 1963 and from Texas Tech in 1967 with a BBA degree. He married Mary Sue Burt on May 27, 1978, in Plainview. She died April 7, 1993. He was a Certified Public Accountant for Detroit Diesel in Albuquerque for several years before moving to the Providence community where he was associated with Crume Gin until 1995. He did furniture restoration, and bought and sold collectibles. He was a member of St. Alice Catholic Church. Survivors include his daughter, Abby Crume, of Fort Worth; and two sisters, Wanda Smith of Cumming, Ga., and Betty Clayshulte of Las Cruces, N.M. His wife and parents are deceased.
