Obituary

ABERNATHY (Special)- Funeral services for William Henry Crow, 68, who died at 8:20 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 1956, at the home of his son, Edwin, here, were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Abernathy.
The Rev. Joe Griffin, pastor officiated at the services. Burial was in Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home, Lubbock.
Crow was born December 13, 1889 in Brown County and had lived in Abernathy since 1913, with exception of a few years spent at Lubbock and in Arkansas. He had been ill several months.
Survivors, include his widow; two sons, C. E. Crow, Abernathy and Robert E. Crow, Crosbyton; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert Brown, New Braunfels, and Mrs. Clyde Hodges, Ralls; three brothers, O.N. Crow, Dallas, E. I. Crow, Chester, California and W. B. Crow, Fayetteville, Arkansas, one sister Mrs. T. E. Arnold, Colorado City; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
