Obituary

Graveside services for Dollie R. Cox, 76, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Plainview Memorial Park with Jim Lindstrom officiating. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Cox died Friday, May 11, 2007, at W.J. Mangold Memorial Hospital in Lockney. She was born Sept. 19, 1930, in Bristol, Tenn., to Ralph Eades and Mandy Hammett Eades. She married Ray Cox in July 1973 in Raton, N.M. He died in August 2005. Also deceased are her parents and 12 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Cox was a homemaker and a Jehovah's Witness. Survivors include a daughter, Ann Long of Lockney; two sisters, one brother; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
