Obituary

Graveside services for Clarence Anders Cox, 73, of Plainview will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Cox died Wednesday, March 7, 2012. He was born Dec. 12, 1938, in Plainview. He worked for Dub Reed Custom Harvesting, Micky Blakenship in construction and at Service Gin. He attended East Mound School, Central Junior High and Plainview High School. Survivors include two sons, Brent Cox of Gladewater and Jeff Cox of Plain?view; two daughters, Tammy Sanmann of Weatherford and Deanna Matthews of Longview; one brother, Larry Cox of Plainview; one sister, Shirley Cook of Plainview; seven grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
