Obituary

Funeral services for Bobby Glenn Cox, 73, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with Darwin Cox officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Cox died Friday, March 10, 2006, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. He was born Nov. 26, 1932, in Plainview to Cecil William Cox and Denvis Martine Cox. He married Gloria Flo Barnes in Tulia. He was an avid domino player at the Lockney Senior Citizens. He served his country in the U.S. Army and later was a farmer until retirement. Survivors include a daughter, Leslie Cox of Lubbock; a son, Wade Cox and wife Kasha of Divide, Colo.; brothers Tom Cox of Duncanville and Lynn Cox of Decatur; sisters Dorothy Solomon of Lubbock, Barbara Solomon of Amarillo, Betty Knowles of Amarillo and Cecile Leatherman of Irving; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Berry Hooten, Kenny Hooten, Kraig Cox, Robert Langston, John Turpin and Robert Webb.
