Couch, Joseph Samuel (Joe)
Graveside services for Joe S Couch, 93, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Plainview Memorial Park with a Church of Christ minister officiating.
Burial arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mr. Couch died at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, in Methodist Hospital Plainview.
He was born March 19, 1904, in Paul?s Valley, Okla., where he grew up and attended schools. He moved to Plainview in 1924 and did lease work for Harry Igo for 30 years at Plainsman Supply as a truck driver. He later worked as an independent truck driver.
He was a member of Ninth and Columbia Church of Christ.
On July 24, 1931 he married Nell Farris in Clovis, N.M. She died Feb. 28, 1995.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Teddy (Judy) Bradshaw of Plainview; one son, Dale Couch of Amarillo; six grandchildren, including Joe Dale Bradshaw of Plainview whom he raised; and six great-grandchildren.
