Obituary

Funeral services for Annie Joyce Cork, 69, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Joseph Johnson, pastor of Faith Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Cork died at 10:36 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004, in Covenant Hospital. She was born Jan. 23, 1935, in Morton. On April 15, 1952, she married Lonnie Cork in Tucumcari, N.M. He died Jan 7, 2004. Survivors include two sons, Mike Cork of Elgin and Justin Cork of Plainview; five daughters, Sherry Bryant of Tulare, Calif., Marlene Cork, Carol Cork, Gayle Walker and Linda Torres, all of Plainview; two brothers, Earl Crowley of Borger and Wesley Crowley of Paris, Ark.; one sister, Frances Fowler of Blythe, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Billy Joe Cork and Anice Fowler, are deceased.
