Cook, Roy Glen
Memorial services for Roy Glen Cook, 67, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Bartley-Silva Memorial Chapel with the Rev. A.C. Hamilton, retired Baptist minister, officiating.
Cremation arrangements were by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home.
Mr. Cook died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2000, in Covenant Hospital.
He was born Dec. 18, 1932, in Vernon. He lived in Stephenville before moving to Plainview in 1955. He was a paint contractor and enjoyed radio controlled airplanes.
On May 7, 1967, he married Doris Johnson in Juarez, Mexico.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Brian Cook of Plainview; a daughter, Toya Presley of Italy, Texas; a brother, Morris Tom Cook of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two grandchildren; and an aunt, Lois Kiser of Plainview.
