Obituary

Mass for Valeria R. Contreras, 91, of Abernathy, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Isidore Catholic Church with the Rev. Luis Dussan officiating.

Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery under direction of Abell Funeral Home.

She died Monday, Sept. 27, 1999, in Lutheran Home of West Texas.

She was born on April 28, 1908, in Monterrey, Mexico. She moved to Abernathy in 1959 from Rangel. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and was a member of the Golden Age Group.

Survivors include three nieces and one nephew.
