Collier, Bernice

Funeral services for Bernice Collier, 61, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Jennings and the Rev. Ernest Charles Wilson officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley- Silva Funeral Home.

Ms. Collier died Wednesday, July 28, 1999 in Covenant Hospital Plainview.

She was born May 27, 1938, in Atlanta, Texas.

She worked as a cafeteria cook at Ash School for 26 years. She was a member of Happy Union Baptist Church and enjoyed singing and crocheting.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Lee Warren and Queen Cook, both of Plainview, four sons, Bobby J. collier, Gene W. Cook, and Mickey Cook, of Plainview and Ernest Cook of Huntsville; her mother, Katherine Collier of Plainview; and a sister, Itteria Wilson of Lockhart.

Her father, A.J. Collier, died Nov.18, 1987.
