Obituary

Randy Collie, 55, of Plainview, died on Friday, April 19, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, April 24, 2013, in the First Baptist Church Family Life Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Huffty officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation was held from 6-7 p.m. on April 23, 2013, at the funeral home. Randy was born July 16, 1957, to Travis and Llawanna Collie in Plainview. He grew up in Plainview and from graduated Plainview High School in 1975. He married Ann "Annie" Offield on Nov. 8, 1975. They were married for 37 years. He was a master electrician and owned and operated Randy Collie Electric. He was a member of local car clubs and the Elk's Lodge. He enjoyed going to car shows, car swap meets, watching NAS?CAR and hunting. He loved spending time with family, friends and especially his grandbabies. He is preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Collie. He is survived by his wife, Ann Collie; two sons, Chad Collie and wife Kate of Gilmer and Shaun Collie and wife Micah of Mansfield; his parents, Travis and Llawanna Collie of Cleburne; two brothers, Gary Collie of Cleburne and Steve Collie of Paradise; two sisters, Sharon Richardson and husband Zane and Karen Rothell, both of Plainview; three grandchildren, Travis Collie, Brooke Collie and Finley Collie; and one on the way, Sawyer; and many nieces and nephews.
