Funeral services for Willie Earl "8-Ball" Coleman, 39, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Jennings officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Coleman died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at his residence. He was born March 27, 1969, in Plainview to Albert and Ethel Coleman. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1987. He was a newspaper distributor for the Plainview Daily Herald and a member of New Missionary Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Heather Brown of Plainview; two sons, Devonte Ray Coleman and Nicholas James Coleman, both of Plainview; one daughter, Katelyn Coleman of Plainview; one stepdaughter, Dakota Langston of Plainview; his mother, Ethel Coleman of Plainview; three brothers, Darrel Ayers of Abernathy, Bennie Coleman of Lubbock and Albert Thornton of Garland; five sisters, Ruby Walzier and Mary Katrina, both of Plainview, Victoria Thompson of Hale Center, Tamara Daniels of Baton Rouge, La., and Misty Wooley of Jacksonville, Fla.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His father, Albert Coleman; and grandparents, Ollie Mae Young and Lillie Mae Coleman, are deceased. Online condolences may be made at [email protected]
