LOVINGTON (from The Lovington Leader) - Funeral services were conducted this morning at 10 a.m. for Clarence B. Coleman, who suddenly became ill at his home, 9 West Avenue N, Saturday evening and was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. Local arrangements were under the direction of Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Services were conducted in Plainview, Texas in the Wood-Dunning Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Truent Kuentsher, pastor of Clayton Baptist Church, officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Coleman operated the C and A Laundry. They have resided in Lovington the past four years. Survivors include his widow, Alma; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Young, Kress, Texas, and Mrs. Jean Turner, Houston, Texas; one son, Bob Coleman, Plainview, Texas, his mother, Mrs. Willie C. Coleman, Truth or Consequences; one sister, Mrs. Violet Ward, Romoland, California; one brother, Ray Coleman, Seattle, Washington, and ten grandchildren. - November 8, 966
