Cobb, Woodrow Wilson, Mrs. (Maggie Lois)

HALE CENTER - Graveside services for Maggie Cobb, 77, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview.

Burial arrangements are by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cobb died Sunday, July 25, 1999, in Hi-Plains Hospital.

She was born Aug. 27, 1921, in Quitaque. She graduated from Flomot High School and moved to Hale Center from Quitaque in 1959.

She was a beauty operator owner in Hale Center before working at Texas Instruments in Lubbock. She retired in 1988.

She was a member of First Baptist Church.

On Dec. 25, 1945, she married Woodrow Wilson Cobb in Quitaque. He died in 1997.

Survivors include three daughters. Sharon Bussey of Petersburg, Rhonda Graham of Lubbock and Temmie Pigg of Yuma, Ariz.; a sister, Jean McCarver of Hale Center; two brothers, Jack Pigg and John Pigg, both of Quitaque; and two grandchildren, Greg and Jennifer Bussey of Petersburg.

The family suggests memorials to the Plainview Humane Society, 500 S.W. Third, Plainview, TX 79072.
