Obituary

Funeral services for Lahoma F. Clower, 70, of Plainview will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Dr. Carl Moman, retired Baptist pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Center Plains Cemetery in Cotton Center under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mrs. Clower died Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at Prairie House Living Center in Plainview.

She was born March 14, 1940, in Plainview to Henry and Viola Rowell. She married Ira Clower on March 7, 1958, in Dickens. He died July 29, 2002. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lockney.

Survivors include her mother, Viola Rowell of Plainview; one son, Keith Clower of Cotton Center; four daughters and a son-in-law, Iroma and Morris Applewhite of Hale Center, Ramona Clower of Blytheville, Ark., Denice Kirby of Amarillo and Kimberly Paige Winters of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her husband; one brother, Lawson Rowell; her father, Henry Rowell; and a granddaughter, Lauren Applewhite, are deceased.
