Funeral services for Altha Noma Clover, 90, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Seth Ward Baptist Church with Noby Miles officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Clover died Monday, March 7, 2011, at her residence. She was born Aug. 16, 1920, in Mills County to R.T. and Henery Etter Miles. She married Thomas E. "Tom" Clover on Dec. 23, 1935, in Goldthwaite. He died April 8, 1992. The Clovers moved to Burnet County where they farmed then moved to Plainview in 1948. She worked for Warrick's Laundry, the Corral Drive-In, Furr's Supermarket for 30 years and Albertson's and Kmart for 10 years. She was a member of Seth Ward Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and L.V. Youngblood of Weatherford, Nelda and Don Hopkins and Eunice and Thurman Kenneth Frost, all of Jacksboro, Sue McKinney-Clover of Amarillo and Judy Clover of Plainview; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Her parents; a daughter, Joice Young; one sister; and three brothers are deceased. Memorials may be made to Seth Ward Baptist Church, 602 E. 24th St., Plainview, TX 79072.
