Obituary

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Sydney Bain Cline, 53, passed away on March 13, 2011, in Colorado Springs. Following funeral services in Colorado Springs, interment will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2011, in the family plot at the Plainview Perpetual Care Cemetery in Plainview, Texas. The Rev. Don Robertson will bring the message. Sydney was born on July 27, 1957, in Waco, Texas, to Billie Joe and Joyce Bain Cline. "Syd" graduated from Hutchinson High School in Hutchinson, Kan., and went on to Ames Community College in Greely, Colo., to receive an associate degree. He then graduated from Colorado Technical College with an electrical engineering degree. Syd worked at Hewlett-Packard before moving to Colorado Springs to join Ford Micro-Electronics as a test engineer. His latest career was working at Treehouse Design. In his spare time, Sydney enjoyed athletics, especially running and mountain biking. He enjoyed doing handyman work around his home. Sydney is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Monika; his son, Daniel, and his daughter, Kellie. He is also survived by his parents and one brother, Lanny Cline. He is preceded in death by his grandparents and one sister, Dina Delores Cline.
