Obituary

Graveside services for Louise Herring Clark, 87, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Parklawn Memorial Gardens with Ken Horn officiating. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home. Viewing will be Friday morning at the funeral home. Mrs. Clark died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, in Lubbock. She was born Aug. 11, 1921. She married Charles Herring on June 4, 1940, in Wichita Falls. He died in September 1980. She married Thomas "Ed" Clark on April 15, 1981, in Plainview. He died in January 1999. She moved to Plainview in 1954 and worked in the nursing field. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary and Inez Herring of Coleman and Richard and Pat Herring of Nazareth; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Patricia and Charlie Drexler of Midland and Janice and Dean Wesley of Lubbock; one brother and sister-in-law, Galen and Barbara McCune of Fort Worth; two sisters, Imogene Davis and Norma Stark, both of Fort Worth; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
