Obituary

Ida Pearl Clark, 79, of Plainview died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, in Lubbock. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Seth Ward Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Ritter officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Clark was born June 9, 1930, in Wilson, Texas, to Clyde and Dovie Waggoner. She married R.L. Clark on Aug. 14, 1946, in Clovis, N.M. She was a member of Seth Ward Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, R.L. Clark of Plainview; two daughters, Gloria Edwards and her husband, Butch, of Plainview and Beverley Mauldin and her husband, Mike, of Hereford; one brother, Robert Waggoner and his wife, Norma, of Clarendon; one sister, Dorothy Wyer and her husband, David, of Muleshoe; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
