Obituary

Funeral services for Thelma Clark, 90, were at 2 p.m. today in Hale Center Church of Christ with Jason Freed officiating. Burial was in Hale Center Cemetery by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home. Mrs. Clark died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, in Plainview. She was born Nov. 24, 1913, in Breckenridge. She moved to Hale Center in 1925 and graduated from high school there in 1933. She was a member of the Church of Christ and Hale Center Senior Citizens. On May 19, 1934, she married John C. Clark. He died in 1989. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Nell Wardlaw of Belen, N.M.; a sister, Ona Terrell of Amarillo; two granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren. A brother, Delma Harper, and a sister, Ola Moore, are deceased.
