Obituary

Funeral Mass for Raymond Cisneros Sr., 69, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will be at Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Cisneros died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. He was born June 4, 1937, in Lavilla to Jose and Angelita Cisneros. He married Olga Vasquez on Nov. 10, 1956, in Memphis. He worked for the City of Plainview water department for more than 20 years before retiring in 2001. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; four daughters and four sons-in-law, Rosa Linda and Robert Trevino Sr., Nora and Tito Ocanas Sr., and Priscilla and L.C. Cantu, all of Arlington, and Rachel and Daniel Zavala Sr. of Plainview; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Raymond Cisneros Jr. and Roy and Delia Cisneros, all of Plainview; one brother; 10 sisters; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. His parents; son, Rene Cisneros; and two brothers are deceased.
