Chiddix, William Wayne, Mrs. (Frances Carol Haile)

Funeral services for Frances Carol Chiddix, 65, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Q.D. Bevill, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Mrs. Chiddix died Monday, March 10, 2003, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

She was born Dec. 21, 1937, in Olney, the daughter of C.O. and Mildred Haile. She graduated from Lockney High School and attended Wayland Baptist University. She received an LVN degree and worked at Plainview Hospital, Home Health Care and Care Inn of Plainview, retiring in 1997 due to health problems.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

On Dec. 21, 1957, she married William Wayne Chiddix in Plainview. He died in March of 1987.

Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Barr of Cotton Center and Lori Ferguson and Melissa Campell, both of Plainview; a brother, George Haile of Burney and five grandchildren.

Two grandchildren are deceased.

The family suggests memorials to Lubbock Children?s Home or to a favorite charity.
