Obituary

Funeral Mass for Ida Linda Chico, 39, of Amarillo, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Reynaldo Reyes, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 tonight at the funeral home. Mrs. Chico died Friday, March 4, 2005, in Baptist-St. Anthony Hospital in Amarillo. She was born July 23, 1965, in Plainview, the daughter of Pioquiento and Francis Rodriquez. She attended Plainview schools and graduated in 1983. She attended West Texas A&M and worked as a case worker for The Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center in Amarillo. She married Jessie Chico on July 4, 1987, in Plainview. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Yuri Chico of Amarillo; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Belinda and Joe Sanchez of Plainview, Hilda and Martin Rosales of Sherwood, Ark., and Marylou and Joe Canales of Victoria; two brothers, Juan Rodriquez of Sherwood, Ark., and Manuel Rodriquez of Plainview. Her parents are deceased.
