Chavez, Pablo

Funeral services for Pablo Chavez, 67, of Levelland, were at 10 a.m. today in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Raul Morales, pastor of Templo Bautista, officiating.

Burial was in Center Plains Cemetery at Cotton Center by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Chavez died Sunday, March 13, 2000, in Levelland.

He was born June 30, 1932, in Cameron.

Survivors include four brothers, Steve Chavez of Tulia, john Chavez Jr. of Garden City, Kan., Joe Chavez of Hearne and Matilde Carrillo Jr., of Lockhart; 11 sisters, Julia Garcia of Hale Center, Janie Donoso of Temple, Marie Chavez-Fest and Teresa Sidon, both of Fort Worth, Eva Kuhns, Sandy Ruiz and Ramona Temple, all of Temple, Paula Burrows of Florida, Herminia Vasquez of Austin, Helen Carrillo of Austin and Elva Martinez of Houston.
