Memorial services for Colleen Cecil, 72, of Abernathy will be held at 10 a.m. today, June 5, 2013, in Abernathy First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dave Menefee officiating. Burial will follow in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home & Flower Shop of Abernathy. The family gathered at Abell Funeral Home to receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Cecil died Sunday, June 2, 2013, in Lubbock.
