Hale Center ? Funeral Services for Bea Cearley, 92, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ken Rowland, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park in Plainview by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center.

Mrs. Cearley died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2000, in Hi-Plains Hospital in Hale Center.

She was born Sept. 8, 1907 in Drasco and married Carl Cearley on Aug. 14, 1929 in Wilmeth. He died Jan. 5, 1976. She moved to Hale Center from Winters in 1941 and was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Home Builders Sunday School Class. She had assisted her husband in farming.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Bill and Carlene Kirby of Plainview; a sister, Lillian England of Hale Center; two grandsons, Chip Kirby and his wife Cindy and Aaron Kirby and his wife Denice, all of Cotton Center; and four great-grandchildren, Courtney Kirby, Chance Kirby, Sarah Kirby and Kyle Kirby, all of CottonCenter.

The family suggest memorials to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
