Caviness, E.C. (Tebe), Mrs. (Zelma Aline McEachern)

Funeral services for Zelma Aline Caviness, 82, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Horace Abbott, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Mrs. Caviness died at 2:40 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2000, in Baptist/St. Anthony Hospital in Amarillo.

She was born Aug. 28, 1917 in Clyde. She grew up in Lubbock and graduated from Lubbock High School. She lived in Plainview from 1950 until moving to Amarillo in August of 1999. She was active in the Hale County Senior Citizens Center and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

She married E.C. ?Tebe? Caviness on May 7, 1938 in Clovis, N.M. He died Jan. 23, 1987 in Plainview.

Surviving are two sons, Jim Caviness of Amarillo and Edmond Carroll Caviness III of Chula Vista, Calif.; and three grandchildren, Paula Caviness, Don Caviness and Jean Caviness, all of Amarillo.
