Obituary

Funeral services for Doris Catlin, 65, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Garland Street Church of Christ with Russell Harris, minister, and J.W. Hamby, an elder, assisting. Cremation arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. Catlin died Saturday, May 27, 2006, in Covenant Hospital Plainview. She was born March 10, 1941, in Plainview to A.D. and Luella Bassell. She married Jerry Catlin on March 30, 1985, in Plainview. She lived in Plainview all her life and was a respiratory therapist at Covenant Hospital Plainview. She also worked at Oswald Printing and was a member of Garland Street Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Jeanna Barnes and Doug and Tiffany Barnes, all of Plainview; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Kevin King of Lubbock; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Her parents and one brother are deceased. The family will be at 1619 Utica.
