Castillo, Refugio

HALE CENTER ? Funeral Mass for Refugio Castillo, 86, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Theresa?s Catholic church with the Deacon Augustine Cantu officiating.

Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center.

Rosary will be recited at church at 7 tonight.

Mr. Castillo died Friday, July 28, 2000, in covenant Hospital Plainview.

He was born July 4, 1914 in Victoria, Mexico. He was a longtime resident of Hale Center, a farmer and a Catholic.

Surviving are his wife, Domingo; eight sons, Johnny and Angelo of Plainview, Albert, Joe R., Edward and Ramiro of Hale Center, Aurther of Floydada and Carlos of Houston; four daughters, Carolina Sanchez and Sofia Garcia, both of Hale Center, and Sally Gomez and Vera Gonzales, both of Plainview; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Aurther, Albert, Edward, Johnny and Angelo Castillo, Leo Gonzales Jr. and Jr. Salinas
