Castillo, Manuel

Hale Center-- Funeral Mass for Manuel Castillo, 69, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Theresa's Catholic Church with the Rev. Reymundo Manriquez officiating.

Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home.

Rosary will be recited tonight at 7 in the same church.

Mr. Castillo died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2004, in Lubbock.

He was born Oct. 13, 1934, in New Braunfels. He was a longtime resident of Hale Center and a farmer.

He was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church.

He married Elida Ramirez, March 11, 1978, in Plainview.

Survivors include his wife; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jessie and Esmerelda Castillo and Charlie and Sally Castillo all of Hale Center; two brothers, Benny Castillo of Wisconsin and Frank Castillo of Colorado; a sister, Dora Martinez of Austin; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
