Obituary

Funeral services for Juan Castillo Jr., 38, will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Lemons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Castillo officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Castillo died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at his residence. He was born Oct. 3, 1967, in Tampa Bay, Fla., to Juan and Ofelia Martinez Castillo. After graduating from Plainview High School, he served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Survivors include his parents; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Isabel Castillo, Pete and Diana Castillo, Rene and Donna Castillo, all of Plainview, and Daniel and Jeri Castillo of Guymon, Okla.; five sisters and three brothers-in-law, Marina and Frank Herrera of Lubbock, Margarita Castillo of Liberal, Kan., and Irene and Rick Lucio, Tina and Jay Nicolas and Dina Castillo, all of Plainview. His grandparents, Isabel and Isidra Castillo; grandfather, Jose Martinez; and grandmother, Concepcion Sarmientos, are deceased.
