Funeral services for Frances Cass, 87, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mark?s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Jim Mock, former rector, officiating.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cass died at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, in Prairie House Living Center.
She was born Nov. 9, 1911, in Amarillo where she grew up. She graduated from Amarillo High School and Kansas State University. She moved to Plainview in 1940.
She was a member of St. Mark?s Episcopal Church since 1951, a teacher for St. Mark?s Parish Day School and a member of Alpha Delta Pi.
On Feb. 1, 1931, she married R.L. ?Red? Cass in Plainview. He died Jan. 16, 1997.
Survivors include one son, Ross Cass of Dallas; two sisters, Inga Pratt of Albuquerque, N.M., and Flora Spangler of Olympia, Wash.; two grandchildren; Donal Stewart Cass and Alicia Janelle Cass, both of Dallas; and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to St. Mark?s Episcopal Church, 710 Joliet, Plainview, TX 79072.
