Funeral Mass for Maria "Mary Lou" Delaluz Bazaldua Casias, 63, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Theresa Catholic Church with the Rev. Reymundo Manriquez officiating. Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview. Rosary will be at 7 tonight at Lemons Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Casias died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at her residence. She was born May 15, 1942, in Mission to Patrico Bazaldua and Manuela Vargas Bazaldua. She married Alfonzo Casias on Oct. 24, 1962, in Hale Center. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and a longtime member of Guadalupanas. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Alfonzo Casias Jr. of Hart, Ricky Casias of Lubbock and Jerry Casias of Hale Center; three daughters, Rose Mary Esquivel of Plainview, Mary Bendele of Hale Center and Tammy Sageser of Cotton Center; six sisters, Juanita Garcia of Nebraska, Maria Macias and Janie Bazaldua, both of Tulia, Elva Reyna of Lubbock, Mary Granado of Dumas and Emma Garcia of Spearman; one brother, Abel Bazaldua of Tulia; and 14 grandchildren. Her parents; a brother, David Bazaldua; two sisters, Lupe Ramirez and Theresa Mireles; and a granddaughter, Airicka Casias, are deceased.
