Carter, Earnest, Mrs. (Callie Mae)

Funeral services for Callie Mae Carter, 92, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel with T. A. Williams, minister of Ash & Carver Street Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carter died at 12:27 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2000, in Covenant Hospital.

She was born Feb. 28, 1908, in Caldwell, She moved to Plainview in 1945 from Lubbock.

She was a member of Ash Carver Street Church of Christ and instrumental in its development.

On Aug. 2, 1961, she married Earnest Carter in Plainview. He is deceased.

Survivors include two daughters, Pearlene Campbell and Imogene Jackson, both of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great-grandchildren.
