Funeral services for Marcia Carrion, 64, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Carrion died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, in Plainview. She was born Sept. 22, 1944, in Chicago where she grew up and attended school. She married Jorge Carrion Sr. on July 6, 1962. She was a certified nursing assistant for many years and worked for nursing homes. She retired in the late 1990s. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Julie Carrion of Chicago; one son, Jorge Carrion Jr. of Plainview; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
