Carmona, Victor, Mrs. (Damiana)

Funeral services for Damiana Carmona, 89, will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Date Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Glen E. Godsey, associate director of missions for the Caprock-Plains Baptist Association, officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carmona died at 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, in HIS of Plainview.

She was born Sept. 27, 1911, in Mexico. She moved to Plainview in 1988 and was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista and Woman?s Missionary Union and also was a Sunday school teacher.

On Aug. 27, 1964, she married Victor Carmona in Huntsville. He is deceased.

Survivors include two nieces, Carmen Longoria of Ozona and Mary Todd of Burbank, Calif.; four nephews, Claudio Guajardo and Pedro Garcia, both of Plainview, and Jose Garcia and Manuel Garcia, both of Del Rio; and a step-daughter, Naomi Juarez of Huntsville.
