Obituary

Funeral services for Fernando Cansino Jr., 61, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lemons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Cansino died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born Dec. 20, 1947, to Fernando and Micaela Cansino in Hidalgo County. Survivors include his mother, Micaela Cansino of Plainview; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Manuel Sr. and Rosa Cansino, George Cansino and Gilbert and Lucy Cansino, all of Plainview, and Robert B. and Sylvia Cansino of Garland; and several nieces and nephews. His father, Fernando Cansino Sr., and a brother, Pablo Cansino, are deceased.
