Obituary

MANSFIELD - Graveside services for Jimmie William Cannon, 71, of Burleson, were at 3 p.m. today in the Hale Center Cemetery in Hale Center. Bural arrangements were by Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield. Mr. Cannon died at 1:16 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2002, at his residence. He was born Sept. 22, 1930, in Hale Center, the son of the Simon and Ruby Lee Sneed Cannon. Survivors include four daughters, Susan Wiggains of Canyon, Debbie Alcorta of Olton, Carrie Cannon of Burkburnett and Nona Dodson of Arlington; four sons, Jimmie Cannon Jr. of Houston, Guy Cannon of Olton and Gregg Cannon and Scotty Cannon, both of Spring; a sister, Doris Carer of Mansfield; three brothers, Simon Don Cannon of Midlothian, Charlie Cannon of Mansfield and Gene Cannon of Paris; six grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
