Obituary

Services for L.A. Campbell, 53, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Community Baptist Church in Lubbock with the Rev. John Barnes officiating.

Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Ossie Curry Funeral Home of Lubbock.

He died Saturday, July 21, 2001.

He was born May 9, 1948, in DeKalb and married June Richardson on June 19, 1996, in Abernathy. He attended school in Abernathy and was previously employed at the Abernathy Gin. He was a member of Victory Temple in Amarillo.

Survivors include his wife; five brothers, Leon, Ike, Jimmy, Tommy and Kenny, all of Amarillo; and three sisters, Ethel Bradley of Amarillo and Evell Johnson and Marie Barnes, both of Lubbock.
