Caballero, Daniel
Daniel Caballero, age 68, of Plainview passed away Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015. The family will receive visitors from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home. Daniel was born July 22, 1947, in Harlingen, Texas, to Modesto and Martha (Garcia) Caballero. He graduated from Plainview High School. He worked at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center and retired as an associate at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Plainview. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Esther Lopez. He is survived by, two sons, Darrell Caballero and wife Lori and Daniel Caballero Jr.; one daughter, Olivia Marie Caballero; two brothers, Leo Salinas of Miami, Florida, and Ismael Caballero of Harlingen, Texas; four sisters, Grace Perales, Mary Sue Pe?a, DaLinda Ramos, all of Dallas, Texas, and Sylvia Lopez of Plainview, Texas; and three grandchildren, Breanna, Daniel III and Johnny Zane Caballero.
