Obituary

Funeral services for Eduvina C. Bustos, 78, of Plainview will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at College Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Alberto Carrion, pastor of True Vine Pentecostal Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bustos died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, in Lubbock. She was born March 13, 1933, in Norias. She married Benito Bustos in 1948 in Raymondville. She was a homemaker and a member of True Vine Pentecostal Church. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Juan and Maria Bustos of Plainview, Robert Bustos of Bryan, George and Mary Bustos of Hearne and Roger and Diane Bustos of Fort Worth; seven daughters and sons-in-law, Herminia "Minnie" and Ernest Cardona of Bryan, Benita Bustos of Amarillo, Maria and Marcelino Flores, Rosalinda "Rosie" Bustos and Belinda and Gregory Garza, all of Plainview, Mary Alice and Shawn Perez of Sanger and Anna and Rene Del Campo of Benbrook; two brothers, Alfredo Cortinas of Amarillo and Adolfo Cortinas of Houston; one sister, Eudmia Sepeda of Plano; 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Her husband; one sister, Elodia Cortinas; one brother, Alejando Cortinas; and two sons, Hector Bustos and Ignacio Bustos, are deceased. Online condolences may be made at www.bartleyfuneralhome.net.
