Burrell, Jose

Funeral Mass for Jose Burrell, 84, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerald Kenney, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel.

Mr. Burrell died at 7:42 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

He was born Sept. 1, 1914, in Castroville. He moved to Crystal City at a young age and worked for the Texas Highway Department for many years. He moved to Plainview in 1956 and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Survivors include a brother, Benito Burrell of San Antonio; and several nieces and nephews.
