Obituary

Graveside services for Edward Patrick Burns Jr., 75, were at 10 a.m. today in Plainview Cemetery. Arrangements were by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Mr. Burns died Sunday, April 9, 2006, in Las Vegas Medical Center. He was born April 27, 1930, east of Hale Center, to E.P. Burns Sr. and Ines M. Burns. He was the grandson of the late William and Anna Boulier, who came to Texas in 1906 and purchased the land he farmed for many years. Survivors include three children, Connie Baird, Vickie DeVantier and Ronnie Burns, all of the Dallas area; one brother, Buck Burns of Belton; one sister, Lee Ann Mims of Buffalo; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
