Estella Marie Buckner, 92, of Amarillo died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, in Plainview. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Emmanuel Church of God in Christ in Plainview with H.K. Thomas, pastor of New Zion Baptist Church in Lubbock, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Warford-Walker Mortuary, 509 N. Hughes St. Mrs. Buckner was born Sept. 20, 1913, in Clarksville to Eli and Mary Elizabeth Turner. She married James H. Buckner in 1950 and moved to Littlefield. They later moved to Odessa and then to Plainview. She was a member of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; a sister; and two sons. Survivors include three sons, Nat Simmons of Amarillo, James Henry Buckner of San Angelo and Leroy Buckner of Lubbock; four daughters, Rebecca Turner and Gladys Buckner, both of Odessa, Ruby Campbell of Los Angeles and Betty Thomas of Plainview; a sister, Mary Roddy of Plainview; 29 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; 39 great-great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives. The body will be available for viewing from 3-6 p.m. today at the church in Plainview
