Buck, James Pierce -- Plainview Cemetery, Blk. 247

James Pierce. Buck, 69, of Amarillo died Thursday, April 26, 2007.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Plainview Cemetery.

Mr. Buck was born Sept. 10, 1937, in Fort Stockton to Trella and Emmett Buck. He had lived in Amarillo for more than 25 years and had worked as salesman for Auto Zone for the past eight to 10 years. He was a Jehovah's Witness.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Buck and wife Brenda of Irving and Jeff Buck and wife Daveda of South Carolina; a brother, E.A. "Bud" Buck Jr. and wife Jo of Bridgeport; a sister, Billie Williams and husband Warren of Amarillo; and two grandchildren, Daniel and Matthew.
